Removing Cranberry Sauce Stains
During the holidays, it is quite common to serve cranberry sauce or cranberry juice. Unfortunately, spills can occur, leaving stains on upholstery, clothing or countertops. If you are able to catch the spill before it has time to set, it is far easier to remove it. However, like many other red stains, if not treated correctly and on time, you will end up with a permanent pink or red stain on garments or upholstery. Here is a quick way to remove those stubborn stains from nearly any fabric.
What You'll Need:
1 Cup Cold Water 2/3 Cup Rubbing Alcohol 1 Teaspoon Liquid Laundry or Dish Detergent 1 Tablespoon White Vinegar (for Upholstery) 1 Glass or Plastic Bowl Bounty Paper Towels
Instructions:
Carefully blot the area where the cranberry sauce or juice spilled. Be careful not to rub the area or you may cause the stain to bleed into the surrounding area. Absorb as much moisture as you can with Bounty paper towels.
